This course will teach you skills in mindfulness based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy models. Grief and loss can often evoke feelings of anxiety and depression due to the numerous changes in one's life and the need to adjust. In today's society, anxiety and depression are also common disorders or mental states many people enter into due to other environmental or genetic factors.
Through mindfulness, this course will teach you how to better manage feelings of anxiety and depression and help you move through life with more strength and hope. By reducing and learning how to cope with these oftentimes overwhelming feelings, life will become more manageable and satisfying.
